A big difference between UK and the rest of the world is the famous "left side".
Everything is moving on the other side, especially cars :)
Maybe it sounds like a joke, but be very careful when you want to pass on the other side of the street, because even if you read the warning, there is a high possibility that you will look right. I'm 99% sure. Even the people walk on the left side ... so be careful and avoid collissions :)
Appliances in the UK usually use standard 3-pin square plugs and sockets.
Voltage is 240 volts AC at 50HZ.
If you come from an European country, be aware that you won't be able to charge you phone battery so easy. You need to buy a special unit that makes it possible.
Do you wanna visit Madame Tussaud's, the Aquarium and the the London Eye?
Don't buy three different tickets, I think I have a better offer.
Before I bought my ticket for Madame Tussaud's Museum I've "studied" the official website. I found out that Madame Tussaud's, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE Aquarium is owned by Merlin Entertainments Group that offers "combination" tickets
The main advantages of the combo ticket:
Tip: London Pass doesn't pay for the Madame Tussaud entrance.
The London Pass is a city card that includes free entry to more than 60 attractions and tours, "skip the line option" and other benefits.
Which is the ratio between cost and benefits?
Is London pass a good deal? Well, in my opinion, it depends...:D
